Contemporary comfort
The homeowners of this traditional NW DC homes wanted a contemporary kitchen update. The eat-in kitchen has clean lines, a modern hood, microwave drawer, and minimalistic hardware. We took advantage of of the view by updating the window behind the hood. The walk-in pantry was eliminated, and floor to ceiling pantry cabinets were added to add more square footage to the kitchen space making room for the large island with seating. Now everyone can join around the island for eating and socializing.
